(1) These Rules may be called as  the “Kidney Transplantation (Regulation and Prohibition) Rules, 2058
(2002).”
(2) These Rules shall come into force on the date on which the Human Body Organ Transplantation (Re gulation and
Prohibition) Act, 2055 (1998) comes into force. 1
